Qollider is a first-of-its-kind after-school program designed to give Colorado’s rural students a front-row seat to the future of science, technology, and innovation. And the best part? It’s 100% free for districts, thanks to Colorado’s Out-of-School Time grant.
Fully funded through June 2027 by Colorado’s Nonprofit Out-of-School Time Grant Program (HB 24-1331), Qollider is offered at zero cost to schools or districts.
What is Qollider?
And why is it free?
Qollider is an out-of-school time (OST) program that equips rural students with the skills and confidence to thrive in Colorado’s rapidly growing quantum and technology workforce.
Developed by Colorado AeroLab and powered in partnership by the Elevate Quantum Workforce Consortium, Qollider connects students to quantum science, emerging technologies, and real-world problem-solving through a series of 10-week, project-based learning experiences.
Each session blends hands-on activities with hybrid learning and mentorship from STEM professionals to help students see themselves as innovators and leaders.
Teachers receive full training, classroom resources, and ongoing support—so implementation is seamless, engaging, and entirely turnkey.
How It Works
Designate a Point Person
Qollider is a hybrid program with paid after-school positions and training for teachers. Choose your team, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Engage Your Students
Students participate in 10-week sessions that build skills in problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation, culminating in showcases that celebrate student achievement.

Once enrolled, your team will receive all the materials, training, and support needed to launch the program—no new hires, equipment, or budget required.

Why it Matters
Colorado’s designation as a National Quantum Tech Hub will create 30,000 new jobs in the next decade, many requiring only technical certifications or associate degrees. Yet most STEM programs remain concentrated in the Front Range, leaving rural students—and the teachers who guide them—at a disadvantage.
