Colorado is now a global leader in quantum innovation. We’re preparing Colorado’s rural students for a growing quantum workforce through out-of-school-time programs that introduce quantum thinking and principles in grades K-12.
So where do you come in? We need partners for our spring pitch event. (And beyond!)
We need your help! Our academic year culminates in a spring incubator session where students dive into quantum-based solutions to real-world problems. They’ll present their projects to industry partners (like you!) and pitch for internships, site visits, and more. It’s a great chance to get your organization in front of future employees before they even get to college or technical school.
So where do we start? With rubber ducks! (Yes, really.)
To tackle quantum science, kids need fundamental critical thinking skills. So we start by teaching them how to problem solve with a research-backed social-emotional learning technique: talking it out when you’re stuck. For our students, rubber ducks become classroom tools to build metacognition and resilience. Then we introduce quantum principles in phase two, and set them loose in phase three.
